THIS WEEK: The Virginia Cavaliers conclude their three-game week with Sunday, Jan. 13 game with Wake Forest. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. at University Hallon the Virginia Sports Radio Network. Virginia then hits the road for two games,visiting Maryland on Thursday, Jan. 17 and No. 7 Duke on Sunday, Jan. 20. Theclash with the Blue Devils will be televised by ESPN2 at 1 p.m. All UVa games willbe broadcast on WINA Radio (1070 AM) with Jed Williams calling the action andMyron Ripley providing color analysis.

SCOUTING WAKE FOREST: The Demon Deacons, under the guidance of fifth-yearhead coach Charlene Curtis, stand 7-8 overall and 1-4 in ACC play after a 77-73 win over Florida State. Sophomore Tonia Brown leads in scoring with 13.8 ppg.Sophomore forward Eafton Hill adds 9.3 ppg.

DEMON DEACON SERIES: Riding a 47-game winning streak, Virginia holds 49-1 series advantage over Wake Forest since the teams first met in 1975-76. Lastseason, the Cavaliers built upon their win streak by sweeping the two-game series.The Demon Deacons, however, went down fighting. UVa pulled out a 76-73 (2ot)win at home on Jan. 28, 2001.
