CHARLOTTESVILLE – The University of Virginia women’s rowing team competes away from home for the first time this spring when the Cavaliers participate in the ACC/Big Ten Double Dual Regatta on Belleville Lake in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Saturday (March 30). UVa and Duke from the Atlantic Coast Conference will compete against Michigan and Ohio State of the Big Ten during the regatta which is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.

Virginia crews competing in the regatta include the first varsity eight, the second varsity eight, the first varsity four, the second varsity four, the first novice eight and the second novice eight.

The competition is the third of the spring season for UVa. Earlier this month, the Cavaliers swept all races in competition against San Diego State (March 16) and Duke (March 23) at the Rivanna Reservoir.
