Charlottesville, Va. – Head football coach Al Groh and his staff host their final coaches clinic of the spring on Wednesday (April 24) in Bristol, Va. The clinic, held at the Bristol Holiday Inn, will feature presentations by members of Groh’s UVa staff and other guest speakers to be announced later.

Groh and his staff had a successful clinic last weekend in Charlottesville that was attended by approximately 130 high school coaches from around the state. Among the featured guest speakers were NFL Hall of Fame inductee Howie Long, New York Giants tight end coach Mike Pope, Northside High School (Roanoke) coach Jim Hickam and Art Weltman, Director of Exercise Physiology at UVa.

The Virginia football program has held five coaches clinics this spring that have been attended by more than 750 coaches.
