One of the world’s largest insurance providers, AFLAC, has announced Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach, Craig Reynolds, as a recipient of their National Assistant Coaches of the Year Award. Reynolds was one of 524 high school and college assistant coaches selected by judges fromScholastic Coach and Athletic Director magazine. Selections were made based on nominations from athletic administrators, former and current student athletes, fans, and board members. Criteria for receiving this honor included longevity, expertise, contributions to the school and community, and special achievements throughout their careers. Reynolds, in the seventh season of his second stint as an assistant coach with the Cavaliers, will receive two plaques, one for himself as well as for the school. The award will be presented during the halftime of the Virginia Men’s Soccer game vs. N.C. State this Saturday, September 28th at 7:00 P.M.
