Virginia’s Emily White (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) was named to the ACC All-Conference Field Hockey Team, as announced by the conference office tonight. White, the starting keeper for the Cavaliers, ranks third in the nation in saves with 179 and sixth nationally in save percentage (82.1%). This is her first such honor.

White was named the ACC Player of the Week on October 14 following the Cavaliers’ upset of the UNC Tar Heels, a 1-0 victory for Virginia. She was named to the national honor roll by womensfieldhockey.com that same day.

White’s 184 saves this season rank her eighth all-time at Virginia for saves in a season.
