Cavalier Harriers Place Second in Cavalier Open

The Virginia women’s cross country “B” team, led by third year Kelly Behan, placed second overall in the Cavalier Open. The men’s “B” team, led by Matt Gutridge, finished third overall. On the women’s side Kelly Behan finished 12th overall with a time of 22:50.40. She was followed by Lauren Chaiken and Jessica Ellis who placed 16th and 18th respectively. Closely following Gutridge’s 17th place finish, James Atchison placed 18th with a time of 26:54.40. Finishing 22nd, Kevin McHale completed the race in 27:15.30. William and Mary placed 1st on the men’s side, and Georgetown finished 1st overall for the women.
