Free Admission to Women's Basketball With Toy Lift Donation

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Any fan who brings a new, unwrapped toy or book to donate to Toy Lift will receive FREE ADMISSION to the Virginia women’s basketball game with Rutgers on Friday, Dec. 6.
Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at University Hall. Members of the UVa Captains’ Council will collect the donations at the arena doors.
In its 14th year, Toy Lift is a day-long event held at Lowe’s (located at 1900 Seminole Trail, corner of Route 29 North and Woodbrook Road) parking lot. The Toy Lift will run from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. Entertainment, food and a visit from Santa Claus will highlight the day’s activities.
Toy Lift benefits approximately 2,200 children from 1,000 families in a five-county area surrounding Charlottesville.
