WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The University of Virginia men’s tennis team concluded play Sunday at the ACC Indoor Championships as first-year Doug Stewart (Malibu, Calif.) fell in the semifinals of singles play. Seven of the conference’s teams are in attendance at the three-day event.

Stewart, the tournament’s No. 3 seed, fell to top-seeded David Loewenthal of Wake Forest 6-3, 7-6 in the semifinals. Loewenthal went on to win the event later in the day.

The Cavaliers open their home dual match season on January 25 as they host Richmond and George Washington at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.
