Virginia to Play NC State on Saturday in ACC Tournament

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Virginia has been seeded third and will play No. 6 seed NC State in the quarterfinal round of the 2003 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament, ACC officials announced late Monday evening.
The Cavaliers (15-12, 9-7), under the guidance of 26th-year head coach Debbie Ryan, play NC State (11-16, 6-10) on Saturday, March 8 at 7 p.m. The game will not be televised. The winner advances to Sunday’s 3:30 p.m. semifinal game. Fox Sports Net South will carry both semifinals live nationally. The championship is slated for Monday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. live on Fox Sports Net South. All games will be played at the Greensboro Coliseum.
