Virginia Baseball Not Selected For The 2003 NCAA Tournament

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia baseball team was not one of the squads selected to compete in the field of 64 teams that will participate in the 2003 NCAA Baseball Tournament. The Cavaliers finished the 2003 season with a record of 29-25 overall, 11-12 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. UVa wrapped up play in the postseason by competing in the 2003 ACC Tournament where Virginia finished with a mark of 1-2 after defeating Wake Forest (12-11) but falling to N.C. State (10-6) and Florida State (2-0). A full 2003 Virginia baseball season recap will be posted here on this site at a later date.
