The 2003 ACC Field Hockey Championship will be played at University Hall Turf Field at the University of Virginia on November 6, 7 & 9. Admission is free, and the schedule is as follows:

Thursday, November 6
No. 4 seed Maryland 5, No. 5 seed Virginia 1 (F)

Friday, November 7
No. 3 Duke 4, No. 2 North Carolina 3 (F)
No. 1 seed Wake Forest vs. No. 4 seed Maryland, 7 p.m.

Sunday, November 9
ACC Championship, Noon*
No. 3 seed Duke vs. No. 1/4 seed
* aired live on Comcast, Fox Sports Net South, and the Sunshine Networks

University Hall Turf Field Information

Animals:
Are not permitted in or on stadium grounds, with the exception of trained service animals for our fans with disabilities.

Alcohol Policy:
Alcoholic beverages or containers of any kind are NOT permitted inside the stadium. Persons identified with alcohol will be asked to leave the premises. Guests appearing intoxicated will be subject to ejection and turned over to Police.

Banners:
Fans are welcome to display banners in the stadium during games provided the banner does not contain derogatory comments, profanity, impede another fan’s view of the field, cause a disturbance among other fans or cover any stadium signage. Flags and banners on poles or sticks are prohibited. UVA Game Management reserves the right to remove any sign or banner from the stadium.

Cameras:
Cameras are allowed. Video cameras and audio recorders are prohibited.

Concessions:
Located just inside of the main entrance of the Turf Field.

First Aid:
Medical personnel will be on-site throughout the weekend. If you have an emergency, please see the nearest guest relations staff member.

Items NOT Permitted Inside the Turf Facility:

  • Containers
  • Food
  • Beverages
  • Weapons
  • Signs on sticks/poles
  • Items that may be thrown, such as balls, Frisbees, etc.

Lost and Found:
During the game, the Lost and Found station is located at the main gate. Articles not claimed after the game will be taken to the University Hall equipment room, telephone 434-243-2571.

No Smoking Policy:
Smoking is not permitted in the seating areas, portals, or restrooms.

Public Parking:
Public and media parking is available in all University Hall lots. Handicap parking is available as indicated in the same lots.

Restrooms:
Portable restrooms are available near the main gate of the Turf Field.

Seating:
General admission seating is available in the grandstands.

Tailgating:
Alcohol, tents of any kind (without proper permit), Charcoal grills, and open flame (other than grills) are prohibited in all University parking lots and athletic facilities. Propane grills are allowed; however, the propane tank must be less than 5 lbs. and should not be stored in vehicles on warm days. (Anything larger must be authorized through the Athletic Department).
