Virginia Travels to Coastal Carolina Invite

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia men’s golf team will compete in the Coastal Carolina Invitational on March 8-9 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Hosted by Coastal Carolina, the 54-hole tourney tees off at 7:45 a.m. each day with a shotgun start at the TPC of Myrtle Beach course. Eighteen schools will compete.
In its last outing, Virginia had a phenomenal showing at the Puerto Rico Classic. The Cavaliers, who shot a 879, finished seventh of the 18 squads. UVa beat out six Top 25 ranked teams in the process? No. 4 Georgia Tech, No. 6 Minnesota, No. 11 Texas, No. 21 Illinois, No. 22 Duke, and No. 25 Northwestern.
