RALEIGH, NC – Virginia women’s tennis second-year Kristen James (Clifton, Va.) was named to the ACC All-Conference team. League officials announced the 18-player squad on Thursday.

James earns All-ACC honors for the first time after leading the Cavaliers in singles wins with a 24-10 record. She has posted a 15-6 dual match record, including a 5-3 ACC mark.

Virginia (11-11, 2-6 ACC) begins play at the ACC Tournament Friday at the Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center in Raleigh. No. 7 seeded Cavaliers will play No. 2 seeded Duke in quarterfinal action at 3:00 p.m.
