Distance runner Will Christian will travel to Stanford University for the Cardinal Invitational. The meet will be held on the Cobb Track at Angell Field. Christian, who ran at the NCAA Championships in cross country, has been dominant in distance all season, winning the 5K and placing second in the 10K at the ACC Outdoor Championships. His 10k time of 29:55 is only ten seconds off of the provisional mark for qualifying for the NCAA Championships. Christian will look to improve his time, as he will face the best runners from the west-coast and others looking to qualify for this summer’s Olympic Games.

All-American Inge Jorgensen will compete this weekend at the UTEP Twilight Meet held at Kidd Field at the University of Texas-El Paso. Jorgensen will compete in the javelin, an event in which she has been undefeated since placing second at the 49er Invitational at the beginning of this season. She is the reigning ACC Outdoor Champion, beating the runner-up by more than 26 feet. This meet should expose Jorgensen to the type of competition she will see at the upcoming NCAA Regional Meet.
