University of Virginia Graduate Named To USA Olympic Men's Rowing Team

CHARLOTTESVILLE – Wyatt Allen, a 2001 graduate of the University of Virginia, has been named to the 2004 United States Olympic men’s rowing team. Allen is from Portland, Maine, and rowed with the Virginia men’s club team from 1998-2001.

Allen is a member of the men’s eight crew for the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.

After graduating from Virginia, Allen competed in the Under-23 World Championships in 2001 and 2002, and in the 2003 World Championships.
