Virginia Has 224 Student-Athletes On ACC Academic Honor Roll

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Virginia had 224 student-athletes named to the 2003-04 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll.

The 48th annual ACC Academic Honor Roll, noting academic excellence by student-athletes for the 2003-04 school year, contains a record 1,810 individuals. The honor roll is comprised of those student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year.

Duke had the most individuals named to the Honor Roll with 369 followed by North Carolina (244) and Virginia (224). Maryland was fourth with 203 followed by Clemson (195), North Carolina State (178), Florida State (174), Georgia Tech (112) and Wake Forest (111).
