CHARLOTTESVILLE – The University of Virginia athletics ticket office has announced that tickets for Virginia’s men’s basketball game with Loyola Marymount on December 23 are sold out.

The Cavaliers are currently 7-1 on the season and nationally ranked in both the USA Today/ESPN and The Associated Press polls. UVa is ranked 23rd in the USA Today/ESPN poll and 24th in The Associated Press poll.

“I am pleased the Loyola Marymount game is sold out,” said Virginia men’s head basketball coach Pete Gillen. “The sellout should make for a wonderful atmosphere in our final home game before the holiday break and the beginning of our ACC schedule. The team has worked hard and I appreciate the support of our fans.”

Tickets for Virginia’s games with Western Kentucky (Jan. 5) and ACC opponent Miami (Jan. 12) are still available and on sale through the UVa athletics ticket office. Tickets for the Western Kentucky game cost $12 and tickets for the Miami game are $18.

The athletics ticket office is located in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium. Tickets are available online at virginiasports.com and can also be ordered by calling 800/542-8821 or 434/924-8821.
