The Men head into this weekend’s competition with a lot of momentum from last week’s meet. David Sullivan, who beat his own school record in the pole vault, will score well for the team in the pole vault and the high jump. Alex Tatu will contend for the gold in the mile run, an event that he leads the ACC this season. Tatu will also run the 3,000m. Kellen Blassingame set a season best time in the 400m dash last week with a time of 47.80 and will look to score for the Cavaliers. McGavock Dunbar will compete in the 800 meter run, an event that he can win. Reuben Jones will take part in his first ACC meet and will compete in the 60 and 200 meter dash. Distance star Soeren Lindner will run the mile and the 3,000 meter run. Kevin McHale will run three events this weekend; the 800, mile, and 3,000 meter run. Ryan Neuhart will run the mile. Jordan Orr will run the 800 meter. Trumaine Pendleton will compete in the 60 meter, long jump, and triple jump. Isi Azeke will run the 60m hurdles and also compete in the long jump. Greg Blair will look to score for the Cavaliers in the pole vault. Shadion Buckley will compete in the long jump. Devin Canaday will run the 60 meter hurdles. Kevin Carson will run the 60 and 200m dash. Thomas Codevilla will compete in the high jump and the heptathlon. Zach Davis will be close to scoring in the 800 meter run. Ryan Foster, Matt Gutridge, Andrew Dumm, and Andrew Filachek will all run the 3,000 and 5,000 meter run. Walton Kingsbery will compete in the 3,000 meter run. David Lewis will compete in the pole vault. Scott Robinson will compete in the 60 meter hurdles, while Taylor Smith will run the 5,000 meter.

The Women are lead by Janne’a Bridgeford, Meggie Schuelke, Rachel Marks, and Erin Crawford. Bridgeford will be challenged in the 60 and 200 meter dash after last week’s season best performance in the 60 meter dash. Meggie Schuelke and Rachel Marks always seem to be the backbone of this team, scoring in the high jump in every meet. Marks will also compete in the triple jump and the pentathlon. Last week, Erin Crawford ran a season best 400m dash and will look to improve her mark of 56.33. Cheryl Carr, Laura Hodges, and freshman Emily Harrison will try to score in the 3,000 and 5,000 meter run. Freshmen Tosin Oluwole will be in her first ACC Championship Meet, competing in the 60 and 200 meter dash. Veteran Shannon Hawrylo will compete in the 800 and 3,000m run. Janine Ricci and Suzanne Ginnow will run the mile and 3,000 meter run. Ashley Gore will run the 400m dash. Tomika Ferguson will compete in the 60 meter dash, the long jump, and the triple jump. Huma Husain will run the 800m run. Keshia Ashe will compete in the 60 meter hurdles, while Kathryn Pettine will look to score in the pole vault. Tiffany Roberts will double in the 200 and 400 meter run, while Kathryn Tershel will double in the long and triple jump.
