Cavalier Sports Weekly presented by the Virginia Lottery, UVa’s groundbreaking 30-minute TV show that chronicles Virginia athletes and events, will air on Sunday, February 20th.

This week’s edition is hosted by former UVA and current Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Schaub, and will include highlights from the men’s basketball team’s contests against North Carolina and Maryland. The show will also profile Michael Raab, a standout swimmer who just missed qualifying for the 2004 US Olympic Team. Michael discusses his experiences at the Olympic trials as well as his activities out of the pool, which include playing guitar in a local rock band. Also on the show will be highlights from the baseball team’s home opener again Bucknell and a preview of the Men’s Lacrosse season from head coach Dom Starsia.

Cavalier Sports Weekly airs Sundays regionally on Comcast Sports Net at 12:30pm, locally on WVIR NBC 29 (Charlottesville) at 10am, WRLH Fox TV (Richmond) at 11:30am, and WSET ABC TV (Lynchburg/Roanoke/Danville) at Noon, and nationally on College Sports TV on Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

Cavalier Sports Weekly will air each Sunday through April 17.
