Virginia Baseball Reschedules Weekend Series With Fordham

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia baseball team has rescheduled a game for its originally scheduled three-game weekend series against the Fordham Rams for February 25-27 at Davenport Field at the UVa Baseball Stadium. Due to inclement weather in the Charlottesville area, Friday’s (February 25th) contest was postponed and has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader for Saturday, February 26th. The first game of the doubleheader is scheduled for 1:00 PM and the second contest is scheduled to begin 30 minutes following the completion of the first game. Sunday’s contest will remain at its previously scheduled time of 1:00 PM on February 27th.

Here is a look at the rescheduled series for February 26-27:

• Saturday, February 26th at 1:00 PM (DH game 1)• Saturday, February 26th - 30 minutes after the completion of game one (DH game 2)• Sunday, February 27th at 1:00 PM

Patrons with tickets to Friday’s originally scheduled 3:00 PM contest will be admitted to the second game of the doubleheader on Saturday. Ticketing questions can be answered by contacting the UVa Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-542-8821.
