McGavock Dunbar Wins 800m at Winter Games

Virginia’s McGavock Dunbar led a 1-2-4 finish for the Cavaliers at the Winter Games held at George Mason today in Fairfax, VA. Dunbar’s time of 1:50.73 was the fastest time of the year for the Cavaliers. He finished just ahead of teammate Jordan Orr, who ran a 1:52.06, a personal best for him, while teammate Zach Davis ran a 1:53.45 and took fourth.

The Cavaliers will split their squad and send some athletes to Notre Dame and others to Virginia Tech the next weekend, March 5-6.
