Virginia Field Hockey Athletes Help USA to 2-0 Win at Pan Am Juniors

San Juan, Puerto Rico–Virginia field hockey athletes Katherine Blair and Mia Link were both on the pitch to start in the USA’s opener against Uruguay in the opening game at the Junior Pan American games. Blair and the USA defense held the Uruguayans to no goals and no short corners in the game and now stand in first place in Pool B. The American goals were scored by Lauren Crandall and Rachel Dawson. Action continues Friday (Mar 18) as the USA takes on Barbados.
