Virginia's Rocco Caponi & Paul Bjorlo Finish Competition At The 2005 NCAA Wrestling Championships

SAINT LOUIS, Missouri – University of Virginia wrestlers Rocco Caponi (Uniontown, Ohio/SVSM) and Paul Bjorlo (Reston, Va./South Lakes) completed competition following their second matches of the 2005 NCAA Wrestling Championships at the Savvis Center. Caponi was defeated 9-2 by Wisconsin’s Kelly Flaherty at 174-pounds in his second bout, while Bjorlo dropped a 10-4 decision to Oklahoma State’s Kevin Ward at 157-pounds in his second match at Nationals. Caponi and Bjorlo each went 0-2 after a pair of matches at the NCAA Championships.
Caponi lost a hard-fought 9-5 decision to Lehigh’s #8 seeded Travis Frick in his first match, while Bjorlo dropped a close 5-3 decision to Penn State’s Nate Galloway in his first bout at Nationals.
