CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia softball team’s doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday (March 23) against Radford at Dedmon Center Field in Radford, Va., has been postponed due to the inclement weather forecast for Tuesday night and Wednesday in Virginia. The doubleheader has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 21, at Radford with the first game beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Virginia is currently 10-15 on the season and has won five of its last six games. The Cavaliers return to action on Thursday (March 24) when they host nationally-ranked Tennessee in a single game beginning at 3:00 p.m. at The Park. The Lady Vols stand at 34-4 on the season and are ranked fifth in the latest ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll and sixth in the March 16 USAToday/NFCA Top 25 Poll. The game marks UVa’s first contest against a ranked team this season.
