Virginia Football Opens Spring Practice Sessions

CHARLOTTESVILLE – University of Virginia football fans will have several opportunities to watch spring practice as five practice sessions are open to the public.

The first open practice is on Friday, April 1. Other open practices are scheduled for Saturday, April 2; Sunday, April 3; Sunday, April 10; and Sunday, April 17. Practice times will be announced at a later date. Virginia’s football practice facility is located next to the McCue Center and University Hall.

Virginia’s annual Spring Football Festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, at the Carl Smith Center, home of David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium. The festival will begin at noon in the west parking lot at the stadium. The team will take the field at 2:00 p.m.
