Cavalier Sports Weekly presented by the Virginia Lottery, UVa’s groundbreaking 30-minute TV show that chronicles Virginia athletes and events, will air on Sunday, April 3rd.

This week’s edition is hosted by Meghan O’Leary, sophomore softball and volleyball player, and will include highlights and analysis from a crucial week in ACC play as the men’s lacrosse team took on Maryland and the baseball team traveled to UNC. Also, the show will profile senior lacrosse phenom Amy Appelt, who was the National Player of the Year last season and recently broke UVA’s record for career goals. Finally, CSW will feature a behind-the-scenes look at Virginia’s NFL Testing Day as a number of Cavalier draft-eligible players auditioned for talent evaluators from the National Football League.

Cavalier Sports Weekly airs Sundays regionally on Comcast Sports Net at 12:30pm, locally on WVIR NBC 29 (Charlottesville) at 10am, WRLH Fox TV (Richmond) at 11:30am, and WSET ABC TV (Lynchburg/Roanoke/Danville) at Noon, and nationally on College Sports TV on Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

Cavalier Sports Weekly will air each Sunday through April 17th.
