Virginia Rowers Host Two Competitions On April 16

CHARLOTTESVILLE – The University of Virginia women’s rowing team hosts two separate competitions on Saturday (April 16) at the Rivanna Reservoir. Virginia competes against Oregon State beginning at 10:00 a.m. and against Tennessee starting at 5:00 p.m.

UVa has four races scheduled against Oregon State. The second varsity eight competition is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the novice eights (10:20 a.m.), the varsity fours (10:40 a.m.) and the varsity eights (11:00 a.m.).

The Cavaliers will compete against Tennessee in three races. The varsity four race is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by the second varsity eights (5:20 p.m.) and the varsity eights (5:40 p.m.).

The events are the final home competitions for the team this spring.
