Final Cavalier Sports Weekly of the Season to Air Sunday

Cavalier Sports Weekly presented by the Virginia Lottery, UVa’s groundbreaking 30-minute TV show that chronicles Virginia athletes and events, will air on Sunday, April 17th. This will be the final show of the season until CSW returns to the air in the fall.

This week’s edition is hosted by Wali Lundy, rising senior tailback on the football team, and will include highlights and analysis from the men’s lacrosse team’s big ACC showdown with the Duke Blue Devils. Also, the show will profile standout offensive tackle D’Brickashaw Ferguson, a preseason candidate for the Lombardi award given each year to college football’s top lineman. Finally, the show will feature the game story from the baseball team’s match-up with ACC rival Clemson.

Cavalier Sports Weekly airs Sundays regionally on Comcast Sports Net at 12:30pm, locally on WVIR NBC 29 (Charlottesville) at 10am, WRLH Fox TV (Richmond) at 11:30am, and WSET ABC TV (Lynchburg/Roanoke/Danville) at Noon, and nationally on College Sports TV on Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

Cavalier Sports Weekly will return to the air in September for the start of football season.
