Cavaliers To Host Free Baseball Clinic

Head Coach Brian O’Connor and the entire 2005 Virginia Baseball team andcoaching staff will be offering a free baseball clinic for kids ages kindergartento 8th grade. The clinic will be FREE for all participants and will be held onSaturday, May 21st at Davenport Field, from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm, after theVirginia vs Duke ACC game at 1:00 PM.

Free parking is available in any of the University Hall lots. Kids may register atthe clinic beginning at 3:30 PM on the first base side of the concourse . All kids whoregister in advance will receive a FREE ticket to the 1:00 PM baseball game.(While tickets are still available). To receive the free ticket, kids must complete ALLof the required forms (registration, ticket request, & waiver) and mail them to theaddress below by Wednesday, May 18th (allow at least 3 business days for mail)or deliver in person to the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office located in Bryant Hall,Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM.

The clinic will teach kids a variety of fundamentals in fielding, pitching, and hitting.Each kid should bring their baseball glove. All other equipment will be providedby Virginia Baseball.
