CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia football fans will see the Cavaliers in action on Saturday, April 23 at their annual Spring Football Festival at Scott Stadium, sponsored by ALLTEL.

The festival will feature food, live music, games, and plenty of family activities. All events will take place on the West side of the stadium. The festival will begin at Noon. The Cavaliers will take the field at 2 p.m.

Fans will need to enter through the West gates only due to construction on the East and South ends of the stadium. All fans must sit on the West side of the stadium to view on-field activities.

The 2005 Virginia football Orange Fever t-shirt will be available for the first time at the spring football festival. Fans will be able to purchase the shirt at the souvenir stand inside the West gate.

Fans can park free of charge in any of the lots surrounding Scott Stadium as well as any other University parking lots including Fontaine Research Park. Parking garages will also be available, but will charge their normal hourly rates.

The Football Festival is FREE.

Season football renewals are currently being accepted for the 2005 Virginia football season. Applications were mailed recently. Renewing season ticket holders have until Friday, April 29 to submit their applications. Renewals may be done online at www.virginiasports.com.

For those interested in season tickets who were not season ticket holders last year, waitlist applications are currently being accepted, with April 29 being the priority deadline for consideration.

Single game tickets for Western Michigan, Duke, and Temple are currently on sale. Those tickets may be purchased online at www.virginiasports.com, via telephone at 1-800-542-UVA1 (434-542-8821), or in person at Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.
