WINA Radio (AM-1070) in Charlottesville, in conjunction with Cavalier Sports Marketing at the University of Virginia, is proud to present live play-by-play coverage of Virginia Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse at 2005 ACC Tournament this weekend from Baltimore, Md.

Broadcast coverage begins with Friday’s Women’s Semifinal between Virginia and Maryland. The game is only on the Internet and can be heard live by visiting www.virginiasports.com and connecting to Yahoo Broadcast. The Pregame Show begins at 12:50 p.m. with Jed Williams and former Cavalier Erin Stewart on the call, with the game scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.

Friday evening, the Virginia Men’s Lacrosse team battles Maryland in a semifinal game that can be heard live on WINA (AM-1070) and also on the Internet at www.virginiasports.com. Pregame festivities with Mac McDonald and U.S. Lacrosse Coordinator of Programs Jody Martin begin at 8:15 p.m., with the game slated for 8:30 p.m.

If the respective Cavaliers teams win their semifinal contests, then the championship games are slated for Sunday: Women at 1:00 and Men at 3:30. Both games can be heard live on WINA Radio and can also be accessed through the official UVA athletics website: www.virginiasports.com
