Virginia football training camp opens Friday, August 5 with a 6:15 p.m. practice open to the fans. Other open practices will be held daily from August 6-9 and on Saturday, August 13. Virginia’s annual Meet the Team Day is scheduled for Thursday, August 18, at the Carl Smith Center, home of David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium. The North and East gates open at 3:00 p.m., with the team arriving at approximately 3:30 p.m. The event is free and will be held rain or shine.
