The second season of the award-winning Cavalier Sports Weekly, presented by the Virginia Lottery, continues Sunday, October 30th. The fast-paced, half-hour program provides comprehensive coverage of Virginia Athletics. Cavalier Sports Weekly will be moved one hour earlier this week from its normal 12:30pm time slot, airing at 11:30am on Comcast SportsNet. The show will return to its normally scheduled time next week. The program will also air on the new ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates in Charlottesville, on FOX 35 Richmond and on WSET-TV ABC 13 in Danville, Lynchburg, and Roanoke.

Sophomore safety Nate Lyles will host the show. The program will include highlights and analysis from Virginia’s game against Temple, and a feature on sophomore defensive end Chris Long. The show will also include highlights from this week’s Commonwealth Challenge matchups versus Virginia Tech in volleyball and swim & dive, and will take a look at the men’s cross country team, who recently won the ACC Championship.

Comcast SportsNet has partnered with Virginia Athletics to air the Al Groh Report every Thursday evening.
