The second season of the award-winning Cavalier Sports Weekly, presented by the Virginia Lottery, continues Sunday, November 13th. The fast-paced, half-hour program provides comprehensive coverage of Virginia Athletics. Cavalier Sports Weekly can be seen regionally each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet. The program will also air on the new ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates in Charlottesville, on FOX 35 Richmond and on WSET-TV ABC 13 in Danville, Lynchburg, and Roanoke.

Senior kicker Connor Hughes will host the show. The program will feature highlights and analysis of the football team’s game against Georgia Tech and a feature on junior fullback Jason Snelling. The show will also include highlights from the men’s basketball team’s exhibition game against Concordia as well as a look at women’s soccer ACC Freshman of the Year Jess Rostedt.

Comcast SportsNet has partnered with Virginia Athletics to air the Al Groh Report every Thursday evening. This five-minute segment features an in-depth interview with head football coach Al Groh and previews the upcoming game. The Al Groh Report will air during Comcast SportsNet’s SportsNite news program at 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The segment will also air Friday mornings in the SportsRise news program.
