Cavaliers To Play Concordia In Exhibition Game

CHARLOTTESVILLE – The University of Virginia men’s basketball team plays its only exhibition game of the 2005-06 preseason practice period on Friday (Nov. 11) when the Cavaliers host Concordia University (Montreal) at University Hall. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Concordia is on a seven-game trip in the United States. The Stingers lost their first five games on the trip at Rhode Island, Duke, Davidson, Georgia and Connecticut.

The game marks the debut at UVa of head coach Dave Leitao.

Virginia opens the 2005-06 regular season with a game at home against Liberty University on November 18 (7:00 p.m.).
