SEBRING, Fla. – Virginia junior Leah Wigger (Louisville, Ky.), freshman Kristen Simpson (Norfolk, Va.), and junior Ashley Mayo (Aventura, Fla.) made the cut at the 51st annual Harder Hall Invitational on Friday and advanced to Saturday’s final round.

Wigger shot a 73 to tie for 12th with a 150 (+6). Simpson fired a 75 to tie for 26th with a 154 (+10). Mayo is tied for 37th with a 158 (+14).

Freshman Carly Truitt (Marysville, Ohio) just missed the cut by one stroke, tying for 42nd with a 159 (+15). Junior Lindsay Robinson (Huntington, W.V.) tied for 61st with a 165 (+21). Junior Kira Mayo (Aventura, Fla.) finished with 173 (+29).

Overall, Arkansas’ Stacy Lewis shot a second consecutive 69 on to take a five-stroke lead after two rounds. North Carolina-Wilmington’s Michelle Jarman is second at one-under-par 143 after shooting a second-round 72. Tulane’s Alison Walshe and North Carolina’s Lauren Hunt are tied for third at 144. Walshe shot 68 on Friday, the lowest round of the day.

Final round action at Harder Hall Invitational tees off on Saturday, Jan. 7 at the par-72, 6,151-yard Harder Country Club.
