Cavaliers Notch Provisional Mark In Distance Medley Relay

Virginia’s men’s distance medley team of Alex Tatu, Kellen Blassingame, Jordan Orr and Kevin McHale ran a 9:41.73, the second fastest time in school history, and in the process recorded an NCAA Provisional qualifying mark at the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, IN. This time is the fifteenth-fastest in the nation in 2006.

These four, along with first-year Andrew Jesien, will continue competition tomorrow at the Alex Wilson Invitational, competing in open events.
