About the Match: The Cavaliers return to action Wednesday after a break of nearly a month as they visit rival Virginia Tech. The matchup is between two teams undefeated in ACC play, as the Cavaliers stand at 1-0 in the league, while the Hokies are 2-0. Virginia has not played since February 24, when they defeated Boston College and Old Dominion in a doubleheader at the Boar’s Head Sports Club, while the Hokies are coming off a 4-3 loss to Penn State Sunday in Blacksburg.

Reigning Champions: The Cavaliers, the two-time defending ACC Champions, enter Wednesday’s match with a 1-0 conference record this season. Virginia has won 12 consecutive ACC regular season matches, and 18 consectutive matches overall against conference opponents. The Cavaliers have also won seven consecutive ACC road matches.
