Open Practice Begins on Saturday, April 1

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia football will open four of its spring practices to fans and the media in April.

The first open practice session is set for Saturday, April 1 at Noon. The second open practice is set for 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 2. Open practice sessions continue on Saturday, April 8 at 1:15 p.m. The final open practice is set for Friday, April 14 at 4 p.m.

All practices will be held at the football practice facility next to the McCue Center and University Hall. Fans are reminded that all cameras, camcorders, and cell phones are strictly prohibited.

Virginia’s annual Spring Football Festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, at the Carl Smith Center, home of David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium. The festival will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the north entrance of the stadium. The team will take the field at 3:30 p.m.
