Greensboro, NC – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that Raycom Sports and Lincoln Financial Sports, in conjunction with the ACC, will offer live video webcasts from the first four days of the 2006 ACC Baseball Championship May 24- 27. Fans with broadband (high-speed) connections on personal computers will be able to watch live coverage of the event at www.theacc.com.

The first broadcast will feature Virginia’s match up with Florida State in Game 1 of the tournament at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

To access the webcasts viewers will simply need to log on to www.theacc.com and click on the ACC Baseball Championship “Live Webcast” button below the “Events” tab of the home page. The webcasts are offered as part of an initial test period and will be provided free of charge to the user. Viewers will need to complete a brief registration prior to viewing the events. Live coverage will be held from the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida.

Cavalier fans can also listen to live radio broadcast of UVa’s game at VirginiaSports.com. The audio requires a subscription to the Yahoo! Sports College Broadcast service. The link for UVa audio on the Internet is http://sports.yahoo.com/top/collegebroadcast/teams/vaf.
