CHARLOTTESVILLE – Luke Goldstein, director of football video operations at the University of Virginia, was elected president of the Collegiate Sports Video Association at the organization’s recent annual convention. Goldstein’s two-year term as president began immediately. He is also a member of the association’s executive board.

The 2006 season will be Goldstein’s fourth as Virginia’s director of football video operations. He previously served one year as director of league video operations for the XFL. From 1998-2000, he was the director of video operations at Southern California. Before that, he spent three years as assistant video director for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League and one year as a video engineer with ESPN.

A native of Woodstock, N.Y., Goldstein earned his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in 1994. He and his wife Lisa have two daughters and a son.
