CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia football fans will have several opportunities to watch training camp practice as 10 practice sessions are open to the public.

The first open practice is on Friday, August 4 at 6:15 p.m. On Saturday, August 5, practice is slated for 5:15 p.m. The team will take the field again on Sunday, August 6 at 2:45 p.m. Practice continues on Friday, August 11 at 2:30 p.m. On Saturday, August 12, the Cavaliers will practice at 8:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. The Cavaliers close out the weekend on Sunday, Aug. 13 at 2:30 p.m.

On Friday, Aug. 18, UVa will practice at 2:30 p.m. The final open practice sessions are set for Saturday, August 19 as fans will have two opportunities with an 8:45 a.m. session and a 6:45 p.m. session.

All practices will be held at the football practice facility next to the McCue Center and University Hall. Fans are reminded that all cameras, camcorders, and cell phones are strictly prohibited.

Virginia’s annual Meet the Team Day is scheduled for Thursday, August 17, at the Carl Smith Center, home of David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium at 3:45 p.m. The event is free.
