Virginia Women's Tennis Announces 2006-07 Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia women’s tennis team announced its 2006-07 schedule on Wednesday. The Cavaliers will play 16 teams that were ranked in the final 2006 rankings, including 13 that participated in last season’s NCAA Tournament.

The Cavaliers will open the spring season with the Virginia Women’s Invitational in January at the Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar’s Head Sports Club before opening the dual match season with eight consecutive matches away from home. Virginia’s only home non-conference match is March 3 against Purdue. In the ACC season, the Cavaliers will host Virginia Tech, NC State, Wake Forest, Maryland, Boston College, Clemson, and Georgia Tech.
