Tip Time Change for Game at Rhode Island

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The tip time for the Virginia women’s basketball game at Rhode Island has been changed, school officials announced on Thursday. The teams will now square off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Ryan Center in Kingston, R.I.

The Rhode Island men’s basketball team will then face Stonehill at 7:30 p.m.

The Cavaliers, who usher in a new era this season, playing in their new home- the John Paul Jones Arena, will host Team Concept in exhibition action on Tuesday, October 31 at 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to attend the game in their Halloween costumes.

In its home opener, Virginia hosts longtime intra-state rival Old Dominion in its first-ever home game at the JPJA on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 1:30 p.m.
