Charlottesville, VA – Virginia’s home swim meet against Maryland on Feb. 3 at noon will mark the inaugural live webcast of the Cavalier program on ACC Select. ACC Select, the conference’s new online streaming partner, delivers an unprecedented opportunity for fans to watch live and on-demand coverage of a college sport rarely available to watch on television.

Later this month ACC Select will webcast the ACC Swimming and Diving Championships. The women’s events take place Feb. 14-17 and the men’s are held Feb. 21-24.

Events will be available live and on-demand exclusively at www.accselect.com on a per-event basis ($3.99 per event) or All Event Pass (available for a limited time at the introductory price of $5.99 per month).

Launched in September 2006 through a partnership with Raycom Sports, Lincoln Financial Sports and the ACC, ACC Select provides fans with the best seat in the house for ACC Olympic-type sports that are not available through traditional broadcast and/or cable television distribution. The site includes a large portfolio of match-ups across 20 different sports for all 12 ACC schools, including men’s and women’s basketball, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, ice hockey and cross country. ACC Select utilizes the production and technical capabilities of Turner Broadcasting, which also provides streaming video platforms for many properties, including CNN.com, NASCAR.COM, PGA.com and PGATour.com.
