Palm Springs Classic Tickets On Sale At UVa Ticket Office

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia softball fans that are planning on attending the 2007 Palms Springs Classic in Palm Springs, Calif., Feb. 22-25, should purchase tickets to the tournament by calling the UVa ticket office at 1-800 542-8821 or 434 924-8821.

The tournament passes can be picked up at the Doral Desert Princess Resort, Virginia’s hotel in Palm Springs, Thursday morning (Feb. 22).

Each school competing in the tournament has been asked to sell 50 tournament passes at a cost of $50 each.

Virginia is slated to play six games in the tournament from Feb. 22-24. UVa opens the tournament with games against UNLV and BYU on the Feb. 22. On Feb. 23, the Cavaliers play Cal-State Fullerton and Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo. Virginia wraps up the tourney on Feb. 24 against Fresno State and Oregon State.
