The newly re-designed VirginiaSports.com features the introduction of online auctions. Fans can expect to see exclusive memorabilia, experiences, and other items available only at virginiasports.com.

The auctions area is located on the right-hand side of the VirginiaSports.com home page and secondary pages. Currently, bids are being accepted for an official 2007 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament chair autographed by Virginia head coach Dave Leitao.

Fans can easily place an online auctions bid. New customers must create a user profile before bids are accepted. This is done in the Auctions area after one submits a bid for the first time. Once a user profile is created, website visitors simply have to enter their bid for an item. There is a finite time period to bid for each item. Shipping charges are an expense assumed by the winning bidder in addition to the final bid price.
