CHARLOTTESVILLE — The third ranked Virginia men’s soccer team opens ACC play on Saturday as it visits NC State. Game time at Method Road Stadium in Raleigh is set for 2 p.m.

The Cavaliers (5-1-0) enter the game on a three-game win streak after topping Campbell 2-1 on Wednesday at Klckner Stadium. Neil Barlow (Langley, Va.) and Yannick Reyering (Mettingen, Germany) scored for the Cavaliers, who remained undefeated at home this season. Reyering’s goal was his team leading fourth of the season, and was his 14th career game-winning goal, moving him into a fifth-place tie in school history.

The Wolfpack (3-2-1, 0-1-0 ACC) are looking for their first conference win of the season after dropping their ACC opener to North Carolina, 1-0, last week. NC State is 3-1-0 this season at home and hasn’t allowed more than one goal in any game this year.

Virginia is looking for its fifth consecutive win in an ACC opener.

The Cavaliers return home on Tuesday to host Mt. St. Mary’s before their ACC home opener against Virginia Tech on Friday. Both games are set for 7 p.m.
