CHARLOTTESVILLETwo Virginia men’s basketball mini-ticket packages for select home games during the 2007-08 season go on sale Friday, Oct. 26, at 5 p.m. The Power pack is comprised of six games at the John Paul Jones Arena. The ACC Weekend pack consists of four games played on Saturdays or Sundays during the season. Both packages are available to purchase online at virginiasports.com.

The Power pack includes the Cavaliers’ games vs. Northwestern (Tuesday, Nov. 27), Syracuse (Wednesday, Dec. 5), Virginia Tech (Wednesday, Jan. 16), Clemson (Thursday, Feb. 7), North Carolina (Tuesday, Feb. 12), and Duke (Wednesday, March 5). The Power pack is available for $186.

The ACC Weekend pack is available for $122. The package includes UVa’s home games with Boston College (Saturday, Jan. 19), Georgia Tech (Sunday, Jan. 27), NC State (Sunday, Feb. 24), and Maryland (Sunday, March 9).

The Virginia athletics department announced Wednesday (Oct. 24) single-game tickets for select men’s basketball games during the 2007-08 season also go on sale Friday, Oct. 26, at 5 p.m. Tickets are available for the Cavaliers’ games with Vermont (Nov. 11), Howard (Nov. 14), Drexel (Nov. 20), Longwood (Dec. 7), Hampton (Dec. 19), Elon (Dec. 22) and Hartford (Dec. 30). Single-game tickets for the remaining home men’s basketball games will go on sale, if available, at a later date.

Fans may also purchase the mini-ticket packages by calling the UVa athletics ticket office at 1-800-542-8821 or 434/924-8821 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Fans can order the packages in person by visiting the athletics ticket office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Telephone and ticket window sales for the mini-ticket packages and available single-game tickets begin Monday, Oct. 29, at 9 a.m.

Tickets for the complete 17-game Virginia home schedule are available with the purchase of a season ticket. Season ticket holders may also take advantage of benefits such as ticket resale access through Virginia’s Ticket Marketplace and electronic ticket transfer and ticket return opportunities.

Tickets also remain on sale for Virginia’s Nov. 4 exhibition game with Carson-Newman. The game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. at John Paul Jones Arena. The exhibition game with Carson-Newman is not part of the season ticket package.
