Wake Forest game sold out

The athletics department announced today that Saturday’s home football game against defending ACC Champion Wake Forest is sold out. The noon game will be broadcast by Lincoln Financial Sports on its network of syndicated stations.

The Demon Deacons enter the game ranked No. 21 in the Associated Press poll and No. 24 in the latest BCS standings. Virginia is ranked No. 23 in the BCS
poll.

The Wake Forest game is UVa’s third sellout this season. The Cavaliers’ Oct. 13 game vs. Connecticut and the Nov. 24 season finale against Virginia Tech also
sold out.
